IVY (Involved Volunteer Youth), is a clearinghouse of volunteer activities for youth (primarily youth entering the sixth through twelfth grade students) in our community. The goal of this clearinghouse is to increase youth involvement in volunteer activities and bridge youth/adult relationships with the organizations/agencies utilizing this service. The program is provided through GRADE A PLUS, a non-profit organization that provides activities promoting healthy communities healthy youth. The program helps bridge the GAP between you and the community.

Let you know what, when and where is the next meeting, activates and events.
Youth who are interested in volunteering simply fill out a volunteer information form (and their parents complete a consent form). Once this has been completed they will be entered into our database and ready to be paired with a suitable volunteer position.
Each volunteer is required to keep track of his/her volunteer hours and report them to GRADE A PLUS.

IVY (Involved Volunteer Youth) program allows area businesses and organizations to become involved with the youth in their community by providing volunteer positions.
Business and organizations that are interested in providing volunteer opportunities contact GRADE A PLUS with a position in mind. We attempt to match the volunteer position with the personal interests of the youth volunteer.
Each business or organization will be required to fill out a short evaluation of the volunteer to ensure a positive volunteer experience in the future.

To join must be 11 years or older or in 6th Grade .
Only 8th grade and up is qualified for the President's Award and the Silver Cord Programs.
In order to be a IVY  Volunteer member you must fill out  and turn in a Application Form for our records, Please do not sign up for volunteering if you do not turn in an application first..
